Joshua (Larry) is ecstatic to be joining the cast of Larry the Musical! Currently based out of Brooklyn, NY, the Ohio-born actor originated the role of Joxer in Xena: Warrior Musical. Other favorite roles include Henry in Next to Normal and Andrew Jackson in Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson. Salamat to Tay and Ate for their unwavering support, and to Nanay for always watching over and guiding him.

Bebe Browning* (Reyna/Mom) is a New York City based performer. Born and raised in Hawaii, Bebe has performed Off-Broadway at the York Theater, Roundabout Theatre Company, in regional theaters across the country and has appeared on television in Succession (HBO) and Manifest (NBC). Proud graduate of the University of Michigan, BFA Musical Theatre. Bebe also has a strong passion for food and has spearheaded fundraisers selling home-cooked lumpia to raise thousands of dollars for different charitable causes including anti-Asian hate organizations and the Maui Strong Fund for victims and families displaced by the Maui fires. Gratitude and love to Billy, Gayle, Bryan, the Larry team, family, friends and her fiancé, Dan! For Lola.

Jocelyn (Dawn) is over the moon to be a part of Larry the Musical! Favorite theaterre credits include Cabaret, Spring Awakening, Godspell, and Little Shop of Horrors (Young People’s Teen Musical Theater Company). She was also seen as a soloist in I, Too, Sing America, Every Saturday Night, and One, Googol and One (San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Company). As a Black and Filipina SF native, Jojo leaps at the chance to learn more about her culture and is overjoyed to be a part of this history-making production! Kylie (Yzzy/Dance Captain) is a Bay Area native that has been seen as Connie in The 1940’s Radio Hour and Crystal in Little Shop of Horrors (Hillbarn Theatre) and Sandy in Grease, Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Aida, and Shirley Charles in Saturday Night Fever (Broadway by the Bay). Training includes musical theattrer, vocal, classical and contemporary ballet at Westlake School for the Performing Arts. Kylie has been on the Larry journey since Workshop 2, after taking a break from performing to pursue her grandparents’ dream of becoming a Registered Nurse. Kurt (Tomas/Fight Captain) is a musician and actor based in San Francisco and Los Angeles. A trained operatic singer, he holds his Master’s of Music from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. His recent engagements include Patrick in Mame (42nd Street Moon), a soloist with the Filipino American Symphony Orchestra, and Pausanias in Une éducation manquée (San Francisco Conservatory of Music). Kurt is also an artist signed with Philippines-based record label Curve Entertainment, and has been featured as a performer on WishBus USA 107.5 and TropangLOL TV-5. His music can be found on all streaming services. Kurt is beyond honored and grateful to tell this profound story in Filipino American history!
Daniel (Chris/Dad, Vocal Captain) regards being a part of Larry the Musical as the greatest honor of his performing career because it has deepened his connection to his family’s history and honors the ancestors that have paved the way. Other credits include Sebastian in Little Mermaid (Palo Alto Players), Teen Angel in Grease (Broadway By the Bay), and as a backup singer in Jeremy Jordan’s 2015 cabaret at Feinstein’s at the Nikko. Daniel spent much of his childhood gardening with his Papa, Anecito Duca Locquiao, who left his family in the Philippines in 1928 at the age of 16 to work in the sugar cane fields of Hawai’i. This is for you, Papa!
Rocky (Victor) is honored to celebrate the life story of Larry Itliong on stage with this remarkable cast and crew. Previous theatrical roles include Patrick in The Spongebob Musical (Palo Alto Players), Chino in West Side Story (Pacific Coast Repertory Theatre), Agwe in Once On This Island (Contra Costa Community Theatre), Roger in Grease (Sunnyvale Community Players) and Piragua Guy in In The Heights (Stage 1 Theatre). Lastly, but more importantly, he’d like to thank anyone who has given him love and support throughout all of his endeavors, especially theater.
Jaron (Carlos/Understudy Elder Larry/Young Larry) is a singer-songwriter from Oakland, CA. He has released singles such as “Mr. Cool Guy,” which debuted on Spotify last year, and “Isolation” which he performed on Wish USA. Theater credits include Harry in Kinky Boots (Berkeley Playhouse), Prince Eric in The Little Mermaid (San Jose Children’s Musical Theatre’s), Sky in Mamma Mia (Redwood City Community Theatre), and Bernardo in West Side Story (Youth Musical Theatre Company). He also appeared on ABS-CBN’s The Voice Philippines and NBC’s The Sing-Off with his a cappella group SanFran6. Jaron is grateful to be a part of an amazing cast, to tell a story so crucial for the Filipino American identity, and to help build more Filipino representation in the theater community. Vida Mae (Angelina/Swing) is honored and proud to be a part of Larry the Musical. Past credits include Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (Norwegian Cruise Lines) and Cynthia (Contra Costa Musical Theatre), Gigi in Miss Saigon (Broadway by the Bay), Vanessa in In The Heights ( Tri-Valley Repertory Theatre), Anita in West Side Story (Berkeley Playhouse), and Soupy Sue in Urinetown (TBA Award for Best Ensemble at Berkeley Playhouse). Originally born and raised in Hawaii, Vida holds a BA in Communications and Music from the University of San Francisco. She dedicates this to her Grandpa Bernardo Fernandez for his selfless labor in the sugar cane fields of Puunene.
Romelo (Perfecto/Swing) is honored to be a part of the Larry the Musical cast for its premiere. His favorite credits include Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors and Jack in Into the Woods (Berkeley Playhouse), Melchior in Spring Awakening (Ghostlight Theatricals), and most recently U/S Leaf, Chip, and Barfe in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (TheatreWorks Silicon Valley).
